Tarantula

If I had to spend time studying the spider or the wasp, I would choose to study the spider. I am deafly scared of spiders, but I am more terrified of wasps. I am fine as long as the spiders or wasps don't touch me or come near me.
I would choose to study the spider because they are harmless to humans (except for a painful bite), and their mild venom is weaker than a typical bee's. Some people keep tarantulas as pets although I don't see why. Tarantulas are slow and deliberate movers and eat mainly insects. The tarantula intrigues me because I think there would be more to learn about a big spider than a tiny wasp.

Erik Weihenmayer

Erik Weilhenmayer in a way is an inspiration because he did climb Mt. Everest, but yet again he was blind and had help. Any body who climbs a mountain will need help along the way. So yes Erik is an inspiration because he accomplished something that many people don't have the guts to do.

Driving

If I could write a prompted about any thing I would write about driving. In January I can take my road test to get my license. To pass I need to practice parallel parking, Y-turns, and stopping BEFORE the stop sign! When do you take your classes, get your temps, and are scheduled for your road test? Have you had any good experiences? Any bad experiences?

My Digital Footprint

I think my digital footprint is positive because if you would enter my name in at Google, you would find websites for my school, the city hall, or in an obituary from a relative.
When I register for a website I include the bare minimum of what I need.
I think many people need to be internet savvy. Your parents, teachers, and peers should be responsible for teaching interent safety.
Instead of using an advatar many people just use their own picture. I dont think it is really safe to use your own personal picture.

Fantasy Holiday

If I could go on vacation and do any thing, any time, any where, I would visit the Great Wall of China. It would be awesome to walk on the wall, learn about its history and be able to say "I saw the Great Wall of China". While I am in China I would also like to visit shoppes and eat authentic food.

Vacationing in ....

If I could go on vacation any where in the world I would go to France. My reason is wanting to learn more about the culture and try new foods, see different buildings and places, and meet new people.

Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because of all the delicious food and the family get-togethers. After Thanksgiving brings setting up the tree for Christmas.

Climate Change

As part of the student blogging challenge, I wrote a post for BAD 2009 on the topic of climate change. Climate change affects me personaly because when I go to get my license it will probably be really icy and not nice weather to learn how to drive in. The way that its affecting certain parts of the world is because climate change is a use of feul, heavy industry, etc.

My Interest

I have and interest in music... just like every other person that listens to the radio. I like finding new, old, and listening to music. Even thou I dont have a ton of songs on my iPod I still love it. I like to memorize the whole song and jam out to the beat.
